"I was born May 11, 1910, number six of eight kids. Family, horses and cattle became an important part of my early life. The last 89 years have been good to me, and good for me. In looking back through all these many years, I have expereinced a great life. Looking for the good in poeple and animals has helped me get a better understanding of life in general. I hope this video will help you in your search for a better understanding and communication with your horse."

Synopsis:
In his video, Greetings!, Tom Dorrance offers a look into the unity created between the horse and human. His instruction is molded around this idea of unity where he enforces the notion that it isn't so much the horse learning from the human, but rather the human learning from the horse. Key points he talks about in his video for the people at home include:
* always be aware of what surrounds you and your horse
* think of where your horse is before you present yourself to your horse
* operate solely from where the horse is and learn from it instead of being the one doing all the work
Because the video was filmed at several clinics the sound and picture lacks the polish one would find in a scripted video however, it does not take away from the natural and humane technique Mr. Dorrance uses to better understand this magnificent animal.
